Fingerprints’ partner FEITIAN receives approval for biometric payment card

Fingerprint Cards AB (Fingerprints™) has announced that its partner FEITIAN Technologies Co., Ltd., a global leader in secure authentication and transaction solutions, has successfully. The approval for the FT-JCOS BioCARD, integrating Fingerprints´ biometric sensor technology, marks a significant milestone.

The FT-JCOS BioCARD is a high-performance biometric smart card that uses FEITIAN’s self-developed Java Card operating system (FT-JCOS) and Fingerprints´ latest biometric sensor for payment cards, T-Shape™ (T2), which is directly connected to the secure element. This enables a highly secure and convenient transaction experience where users can confidently authorize transactions, knowing their biometric data remains protected.

FT-JCOS BioCARD fully complies with the rigorous specifications and requirements stipulated by the global leader in payment technology. This certification enables FEITIAN to assure customers that the FT-JCOS BioCARD delivers secure and reliable payment solutions, backed by Mastercard’s trusted standards.
