Fingerprints and Beautiful Card Corporation (BCC) to expand partnership and develop contactless biometric payment cards for the global payment market

World-leading biometrics company, Fingerprint Cards AB (Fingerprints™) and BCC, a leading card manufacturer based in Taiwan, are collaborating on developing and launching biometric cards, both for access and payment, for the worldwide market. The cooperation also covers joint go-to-market initiatives, including offering biometric cards to other card manufacturers that are part of BCC’s partner portfolio.  

The ongoing collaboration has already resulted in a biometric payment card that features Fingerprints' first-generation T-Shape® module. The partnership is now extending to include development of next-generation biometric cards featuring Fingerprints' second-generation T-Shape® module (T2) including the FPC-BEP software platform
