New Card Integrates Fingerprints Biometric Solution
Biometrics company Fingerprint Cards AB (Fingerprints™) and MoriX Co., LTD, a leading Tokyo-based electronics company, are pleased to announce that MoriX has been granted a Letter of Approval from Mastercard to produce biometric payment cards, bringing Fingerprints’ leading biometric solution to the Japanese market. The card will feature Fingerprints' T-Shape® module and software platform, which has ultra-low power consumption and is tailored to be integrated in payment cards using standard automated manufacturing processes.
