FPC introduces its smallest touch fingerprint sensors to date

Fingerprint Cards (FPC) introduces two new touch fingerprint sensors, FPC1022 and FPC1035, FPC's smallest touch fingerprint sensors to date.

FPC1022 and FPC1035 are mainly considered for integration on the backside of the phone, and the decreased size gives smartphone OEMs increased possibilities to integrate touch fingerprint sensors in the OEMs' product portfolio. The decreased size also improve possibilities for module manufacturers to customize the look and feel of the touch fingerprint sensor, for example enabling small circular sensors. Together with the other FPC touch fingerprint sensors, FPC1022 and FPC1035 offer the attributes that make FPC's touch fingerprint sensors industry-leading, such as 3D image quality, low power consumption and FPC OneTouch® for ultra-fast and convenient user verification.

Samples of FPC1022 and FPC1035 have been delivered to customers and development projects with module manufacturers and smartphone OEMs are ongoing. FPC1022 and FPC1035 are planned to be ready for mass production during Q2 2015.
