Biometrics by Fingerprints in world’s first Visa-certified contactless biometric payment card from Thales

As announced by Fingerprints’ partner Thales in a tweet its contactless biometric payment card is certified by Visa after meeting the highest level of security and performance required. The card from Thales, with Biometrics by Fingerprints, is the first in the world to be certified by all major EMV®* payment brands.

This marks an important milestone as this card is now ready for commercial launch by banks, to remove the payment cap and bring consumers the trust and experience needed for contactless payments.
