Biometrics by Fingerprints in new cryptocurrency wallet from SCTECHONE

SCTECHONE has launched its biometric cryptocurrency hardware wallet, named Touch xWallet, with Biometrics by Fingerprints. The wallet is FIDO certified, and combines a mobile app and a physical card, which features a fingerprint sensor from the FPC1300-series for authentication, enabling users to make secure online transactions.

There is an increasing trend on the market to merge cards and mobile apps as companions, and biometrics will play a central role for convenient and secure payment authentication. In the Touch xWallet, transactions are made safely with digital signatures between the card and mobile app via Bluetooth (BLE) when the correct fingerprint is in place. Its user can easily check info on the integrated display on the card, using the unique feature FPC MoveTouch® to scroll on the fingerprint sensor to select what is shown and what actions to make.
