Chinese OEM BBK launches vivo smartphone with FPC embedded fingerprint technology.
In late January, BBK will launch its first smartphone under its brand vivo - "vivo Xplay3S", enabled with a fingerprint sensor. The smartphone which will be launched all over China uses embedded swipe sensor technology from Fingerprint Cards ("FPC").
"We believe that finger sensors and its related applications has become an essential feature in smartphones. This capability increases security and at the same time enhances the usability of phones. We are happy to use the technology from Fingerprint Cards and plan to expand the cooperation into coming models" says Mr. Feng Lei, Vice President of BBK.
