GENERAL DESCRIPTION

FPC1011C is a high quality fingerprint sensor, based on FPC's patented technology that offers several strong advantages.

  • Acknowledged high image quality
  • 3D image with 256 gray scale values in every single pixel
  • Reflective capacitive measurement method, sometime referred to as Active or Inductive capacitive measurement
  • Extremely High Sensitive Pixel Amplifier (HSPA) bring a very high signal to noise ratio

The thick protective coating together with the unique HSPA (patent pending) makes FPC1011C the best sensor available on the market today with respect to robustness and image quality. The FPC1011C sensor can withstand continuously repeated ESD discharges well above 15kV as well as more than one million usages and still keep its biometric functional performance.

FPC1011C also includes a micro-ergonomic guidance, simplifying proper fingerprint alignment and hence improving algorithm performance. FPC1011C is interfaced through a 8-pin flex-cable and therefore easy to integrate into a system using standard low-cost connectors.
