Fingerprint Cards (FPC) receives 2 MSEK from Vinnova for research and development

Fingerprint Cards (FPC) receives 2 MSEK from Vinnova for research and development of new and advanced security in biometric fingerprint sensors.

FPC is receiving 2 MSEK from Swedish innovation agency Vinnova for research and development project within biometric fingerprint sensor technology, including electronics, materials and algorithms. The aim of the project is to implement new and advanced security technology in fingerprint sensors. Results of the project will improve overall security for biometric fingerprint sensors and is aimed to be implemented in future FPC sensors.
